At Rosie Academy, we offer weekly ESL (English as a Second Language) class. Our classes are grouped into three different types:

-- IELTS prep classes
-- TOEFL prep classes
All of our instructors are certified English teachers who have worked with international students and new immigrants for many years. Experience brings excellence and we believe in that. For our English classes, we use top-tier course material, practice exams where you will learn how to excel your English exams.
During the classes, we focus on all 4 skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

reading
In your English class, you will be given Reading practice similar to those that ten to show up on TOEFL/IELTS exams. You will be given strategies to effectively extract the most important questions from the text to be able to answer the questions following it in a timely manner.
Writing
In your English class, you are given writing practice exercises that will prepare you for the type of writing you are expected to complete during your TOEFL/IELTS exam. You are also offered FREE writing review from our instructors (we correct the essays that you write for FREE).
Speaking
Small class sizes at Rosie Academy allows you to be able to speak at every class. You will be put into groups where you can practice speaking with your peers and get feedback from each other. The instructor will also give you feedback with regards to your speaking abilities. Practice pays
Listening
You are given a chance to practice your listening skills at every single English class. Whether it would be with the instructor, other students. Aside from that, you will be given listening tasks that you have to complete within the timeframe similar to those on TOEFL/IELTS exams. You will also have lectures on how to take notes for listening exercises, in order to be able to successfully answer questions on the test.

Business English
An on-going 2-month long class where you learn all the essentials vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills you would need to be able to be successful in the job market & the job the scene in Canada.

IELTS prep
A 1-month intensive IELTS prep class with 3 to 4 meetings per week where you learn all the details of the IELTS exam, tips and tricks on how to get the score that you want, how to ace your writing, reading, listening and speaking exams.

TOEFL prep
A 1-month intensive group class with the choice of 3 or 4 lessons per week where you learn how to successfully complete the four parts of the TOEFL exam (reading, listening, speaking, writing). The course is designed to cover all you need to know for the exam.
